Come out, Come out Wherever You Are!!!

I must admit as others have done that I am a total blog whore! I never thought I would be a blogger, but since our Azoo diagnosis, this place has been a total self-serving and sanity saving venture.

What's crazy is that of my real life peeps that know about our infertility issues, none of them know about my blog, not even my own mother. Yet I love love love sharing it with all of my readers and followers.

I LOVE knowing that others read my random ramblings.

I look at my stats all the time, and I love it when people from new countries visit me! Mr. Scuba gets excited about it to! The support I get from all of you out there is a huge piece of of maintaining my sanity. I got the idea from a fellow blogger Kathy, who has quite the following, to out my lurkers and readers, so here goes!

If you read my blog, tell me about yourself!! How did you find my blog? Is there anything you would like to know about me? Extra points for funny questions!

Love to you all!

  1. Fellow azooer here. :) I found you on the infertility board on the bump.

How old were you the first time you went scuba diving? I've done it a handful of times, the first being at 12 in the pool in my backyard. My aunt owns a scuba shop in Ohio (she has a retail shop, but also teaches people in people in lakes and pools but also has a portion of her business where she sets up scuba vacations to all sorts of warm places.

Do you have any special hidden talents???

  2. Hi Azoo sister!! I was 23 the first time I went Scuba diving. My parents are divers and they wanted us to learn so that we could go on some fun trips with them. I have been diving in backyard pools too!

Hidden talents, hmmmmm.... well, I can belch better than most men!! Does that count? =)

  3. Hi! My name is Melissa and as of today I'm a new follower. I found you on 3T. I'm drugged up on vicodin after a lap & HSG yesterday, so I don't think funny is going to work tonight. But I'll do my best to come back when I have fewer drugs in my system to ask you some entertaining questions :-p

  4. Hi Scuba! We found each other on the 3T board. About me: 29 y/o soon to be 30 (ughh). I'm a surgery scheduler at a large ortho office. My cousin is a doctor in marine biology and learned to scuba while in college. I'm hoping to coordinate a vacation with her so she can teach me how to scuba as well as the marine life.

Most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?

  6. @Aime32 - Hi!! I would love to go diving with a marine biologist! I really hope you get to do that vacation soon. Ok, most embarrassing moment. I have a few for sure, but one of the funnier ones is Mr. Scuba was driving a group of us home after we had been out dancing. With the exception of Mr. Scuba we all had a couple of drinks, but nothing crazy for sure. Anyway, I was trying to give Mr. Scuba directions and for some reason I am super right/left dyslexic, so I kept telling him "turn right, I mean left, I mean right". He was weaving all over the road and got pulled over for DWI. Hearing him try to explain his wife's horrible directions was so terrible. After they made him do the stupid human tricks and realized that he had not been drinking, they let him go. The entire car was laughing uncontrollably, and I still have not lived that down!

  7. Hi Scuba! I found you on the fertility board over at bump.com & have enjoyed following you for the past several months now. I am a cardiac nurse that lives in the Midwest & have been TTC for 5 years now. I am very thankful to read blogs such as yours & know we are not in this alone! Thanks for your honesty & for keeping it real!

Question: What kind of hobbies do you enjoy doing outside of dealing with IF?

  8. Hi Heather! Props on the cardiac nurse, that must be a really hard job!!

As for hobbies, I love pretty much anything water related - Diving, boating, swimming. I also love to play tennis, hike, ski, read, and drink wine. One of my favorite things in the world is to eat great food and drink great wine with great company (mostly Mr. Scuba!). It's amazing how many of those things I would not be able to do while pregnant, but I would happily give them all up.
